Hi, I'm Romeo Macabuhay. I created this website to help communities across Northern British Columbia stay informed about hospital emergency room availability.
Living in a region where healthcare facilities are spread across vast distances, I understand how critical it is for residents to know whether their local ER is open before making a long drive. This project was born out of a desire to serve our communities and make healthcare access information more readily available.
As a Christian, I believe we are called to love and serve our neighbors. This project is one small way I hope to live out that calling.
"Love your neighbor as yourself."
— Matthew 22:39
This website aggregates publicly available information about hospital ER status from various sources, including community reports and local news. Our volunteer informants help keep the information current and accurate.
While we strive for accuracy, please always verify with the hospital directly before traveling, especially for non-emergency situations.
This is a community project, run by volunteers who care about healthcare accessibility in Northern BC. We welcome volunteers who want to help keep their local hospital information up to date.
